Maybe because you are not an agile person. If you want to be awake during the year, go to sleep rash when you have concrete time during the semester and you will not be tired.
You are mentally tired. But consult your doctor if it gets worse you might own hypothyroidism. Look it up!
Try going to bed an hour earlier and see if that help. We require on average 8 hours per night, so your missing one hour every year. It's quiet within the library and reading can make most of us relax. Relaxing=sleeping if you are not getting satisfactory rest at night.
Another possible origin is by mid afternoon our blood sugar drops and we need to own a small snack to pick our energy stern up.
If you can't get the amount of sleep required try ingestion something wholesome and drink plenty of water while studying because this also help with focus.-+
It because you are bored - c'mon self-study is pretty boring >_< only just try to get to bed ahead of time than 12 o' clock, try 11 or 10
Do you snor? are you over weight ? If yes attain checked for sleep apnea
