I want to engender a doctor's appt. but I'm worried they'll christen the house...?

I'm kinda paranoid about this because I want to set up a doctor's appt. to try and capture medication for anxiety- but the doctor's I want to go to I pretty sure I'm already a registered merciful at from going to the doctor's with my mom when I be younger and last month when I have a physical... when I call to build the appt. can I specifically ask them not to call the house (for a reminder of the appt. or for anything reason they might telephone? What should I do? I have a cell phone but will they in actual fact change it surrounded by my file if I relay them I would not like the house phone to be call? Yes. here's how you do this.
You call upon the doc's.
You tell them you want them to individual use your cell phone to notify you, otherwise they will be breaching HIPPA laws.
That should filch care of it.
Tell the scheduler that you want to update your information and grant them your cell phone as your primary contact information when you make your appointment.
You can also narrate the scheduler that you do NOT want to be contacted at home for any reason.
When you do shift in for your appointment, complete the 'update information' form and simply use your cell phone as primary contact.
